Patient-level information should not be submitted through this website. Any future exchange of PHI would require an executed agreement and separately verified secure systems.
Business Associate Agreements
Before any engagement involving protected health information, New Mexico Billing and the provider organization would need to execute a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) defining permitted uses, safeguards, and breach-notification responsibilities.
Secure data exchange
Website forms and ordinary email are not used for PHI. Secure exchange methods are established and verified separately for each engagement; this website does not offer secure PHI exchange.
What to send through the site
Only business contact details: name, work email, organization, role, and a general description of your billing needs — without patient names, member IDs, claim numbers, diagnoses, medical record numbers, or authorization numbers.
